Landslide in Serasan island of Natuna Regency, Indonesia - About 50 people died
The landslide disaster occurred in Serasan island, Natuna Regency in Indonesia on March 6, 2023. About 50 people reportedly died in the accident. Natuna Regent, Wan Siswandi said that in a week there were two landslides. However, there were no casualties in the first landslide disaster.
“Earlier there was a landslide in Serasan Timur, but there were no casualties yet. Then the residents cleaned their houses after the event," he said. He explained that another landslide occurred in Genting, Serasan, Natuna Regency. About 50 people died in that incident.
