Two massive fighting elephants caused an enormous road block until one pushed its rival into the bush.

Preben Kok was visiting Kruger National Park, South Africa, in February when his car’s progress was halted by a titanic tussle.

Amazing footage shows two fully grown males clash tusk to tusk with one of the elephants forcing its smaller foe backwards using sheer brute strength.

Incredibly the lesser animal turned the tables and sent its larger opponent off the tarmac and into the bush, allowing traffic to pass.

Preben, from Nakskov, Denmark, said: “I visit Kruger National Park several times a year but this was the first time I’d seen two elephants fighting.

“The sheer power created incredible sounds, even at the safe distance that we were parked.

“It was an incredible battle for territory between two fully grown males. We made sure there was enough space between us and them so we could drive away if they got too close.

“They were fighting for around 10 minutes in total. It was a surreal experience to witness two massive animals clash like this.”
