The test flight for Japan’s H3 rocket carrying a land observation satellite failed on Tuesday, March 7. The rocket was launched from Tanegashima Space Center at around 10:37 am, but as the second-stage engine failed to ignite, the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) sent a self-destruct signal to H3 and ended the mission.
