Chinese diner claims to find worms in lamb dish at restaurant
A diner claimed to find worms in a lamb dish at a restaurant in eastern China.
Video filmed in Shanghai on May 5 shows an anonymous diner using a pair of chopsticks to point out what they claimed to be three large worms in their food.
However, the restaurant claimed that the worm was a type of high-nutrient traditional Chinese medicine called a hornworm, which is harmless to humans.
The restaurant employee said: "I explained to them at that time and the person dining with her (the filmer) also said it was alright."
The restaurant is preparing to sue the customer for alleged Infringement.
The video was provided by local media with permission.
