On the eve of International Women's Day, hundreds of feminist activists marched through the streets of Madrid's Vallecas neighborhood on Tuesday (March 7) under the banner "The Night and the Streets are Ours Too." The march was organized by Vallekanas Feministas, Asociación de Vecinos de La Unión, and Ármate Vallekana, and aimed to raise awareness about the importance of women feeling safe on the streets, particularly at night.

The participants chanted slogans and carried banners demanding an end to gender-based violence and harassment. They also called for greater resources and attention to be devoted to women's safety in public spaces. The march concluded with a rally in which various speakers addressed the crowd and emphasized the need for continued activism to bring about change.
