Heavy flooding hit a neighbourhood amid record rainfall in Johor, Malaysia.
Footage shows the deluge submerging homes in the town of Chaah in Segamat District on March 2.
Cars and motorcycles were left underwater, while residents fled to their balconies and roofs to escape from the flood.
At least five have died and 40,000 have been displaced in parts of Malaysia following the seasonal flooding.
As of March 5, Johor, the country's second most populous state of four million, has recorded the highest rainfall in four days since 1991.
The Malaysian Meteorological Department said the rainy weather could last until April.
