Passersby attempt to separate birds engaging in epic battle on pavement
Spectators attempted to separate two birds engaging in an epic battle on a pavement in southern China.
Bizzare video filmed in the city of Luzhou in Sichuan Province on March 9 shows two birds relentlessly clawing at each other's beaks and legs.
Spectators attempted to separate them but they refused to let go.
According to the filmer named Xu, the birds were not captive, but wild birds engaging in a fight that had all the hallmarks of a grudge match.
The intensity of the conflict was such that it left many spectators in awe, as they watched in disbelief at the sheer tenacity and determination of these two small birds.
Finally, both birds had simply tired themselves out and decided to fly away from each other in separate ways.
The video was provided by Mr Xu.
