Georgia: Protests Continue In Tbilisi, Riot Police Violently Disperses Crowds Outside Parliament

Protests against the controversial "foreign agent" bill continued in Tbilisi on Wednesday, March 8. Crowds were back outside the Parliament building voicing their opposition to the bill. Police stationed in the vicinity of the Parliament fired tear gas and water cannon to disperse demonstrators.

On Thursday, Georgia's ruling party announced withdrawing the bill after two nights of violent protests.
