House of Dosas, a small restaurant in Hyderabad, India, has made waves in the culinary scene with its latest creation – the most expensive dosa in the city, made with 24-karat pure gold. Known as the "916 KDM gold dosa," this lavish dish has been the talk of the town, attracting food enthusiasts from far and wide.

To make it, the restaurant uses a special batter that is then coated with edible 24-karat gold flakes, giving it a stunning appearance. While the gold used in the dish is completely safe for consumption, it does add significantly to the price. The dosa is served with a side of nine chutneys and at least three varieties of podis, along with fried cashew nuts, almonds, pure ghee, chutneys made from roasted groundnut and roasted channa dal, and tasty powders.

Despite its steep price tag of Rs. 916, House of Dosas is confident that the Gold Dosa will continue to be a hit among food lovers in the city.
