Piers Corbyn celebrated his 76th birthday at the Sikh Missionary Society in Southhall, London, on Saturday 11 March.

The staunch opponent of London's Ultra Low Emissions Zone (ULEZ) blew out the only candle on his cake, adorned with a photo of himself protesting against the ULEZ.

He was wearing a shirt that said 'Resist, defy, do not comply'.

The cake was cut after speeches from Gurcharan Singh, Kate Shemirani and Piers himself.

Kate Shemirani is an anti-vaxxer who was barred from the nursing profession in 2020 over what were determined to be her false claims about vaccines.

There were reportedly around 100 attendees at the event.

Corbyn, brother of the former leader of the Labour Party Jeremy Corbyn, is often criticised as a conspiracy theorist.

He has claimed climate change is a hoax and that Covid is both harmless (no need for control measures) and a bioweapon (to control human populations), among other unorthodox opinions.
