Padang city fire department evacuated a 4-meter python hiding on a platform after eating two chickens
After receiving reports from residents, the Padang city fire department evacuated a python with a length of 4 meters hiding in the ceiling of a pet chicken coop, Sunday 12 March 2023.
With great care, the firefighters were forced to damage the platform and the snake fell, and was quickly evacuated to be put in a sack.
Padang city fire chief, Sutan Hendra said "the snake was very long, he hid on the platform after eating two of the residents' pet chickens,".
"Snakes go out looking for food, because the city of Padang is raining, chances are the snakes are hungry and eat the resident's chickens," added Sutan.
after being evacuated, the python will be released back into the forest.
