Three topless men rescued a dog trapped in a frozen lake in northwestern China.

A heroic video filmed in the city of Jiayuguan in Gansu Province on March 9 shows a man with a lifebuoy breaking the ice surface to swim forward to approach a dog trapped in the icy lake, followed by another man lying on a skateboard.

After the dog was taken onto the skateboard, the man moved backwards to return to the shore.

Another man was also seen swimming to help the man with a lifebuoy to move back to the shore.

With the three men's help, the dog was rescued successfully.
