A quick-thinking garage owner in northern China helped put out a fire bursting out of a passing truck.

CCTV footage filmed in the city of Changzhi in Shanxi Province on March 3 shows a fire bursting out of a truck when it was moving past a car repair garage.

The garage owner named Bai Zhigang who was repairing a tyre in front of his shop spotted the incident and shouted and ran to alert the truck driver.

Bai then ran back to his shop to take a bucket of water and ran to put out the fire on the truck.

Thanks to Bai, the fire was extinguished and no one was injured.

A car repair garage owner spots a passing van firing and helped to put out the fire in northern China.

CCTV footage provided by the owner Mr. Bai shows a man noticing a passing van firing while he was repairing a tire.

He hurried to inform the van’s driver the tire was on fire and stormed back to look for water.

Fortunately, the fire was distinguished with buckets of water and no one was injured, according to the garage owner.
