University students found out a litter of kittens in a desk drawer on the first day of a new term in northern China.

Video filmed on Mar 1st in Cangzhou Normal University shows a group of students gathering around a desk and a male student taking the kittens out of the drawer with his palm.

When the mother feline came back, she put her cubs back in the drawer.

According to the filmer, Ms. Zhao, the students always meet the mother cat on campus and call her “senior”.

Zhao said other classrooms and drawers were locked except for this one. The owner of this drawer was frightened when toughed the kittens and the owner thought they would be mice.

The “senior” and her cubs are settled by the university officials on campus, and many students feed them and other strays all the time.
