Open-cab truck stopped by traffic police in China
A bizarre video has emerged from China of a near-scrapped truck loaded with a large crane driving through a city centre before being stopped by a patrol officer.
In the footage, filmed in Hubei Province on Saturday, the driver can be seen wearing a pink helmet in the frameless cab while part of the crane extends over the seat. He shows a slightly awkward face when noticing the camera.
According to local news, the crane on the truck slid forward and smashed off the cab roof when going down a slope the other day, leaving the driver an open vehicle.
The police later reportedly issued him with heavy punishment for a series of rule violations.
