Baggage handlers were caught on camera carelessly hurling suitcases into the plane's hold.

Two workers were seen inside the Cebu Pacific Air jet as they picked up bags from a conveyor belt at the Dumaguete–Sibulan Airport in the Philippines on February 9.

But passengers who saw them from the boarding gates were horrified at how the staff ‘mishandled' the luggage.

Footage shows the two men hastily throwing the baggage like they were lobbing bags of trash onto the Airbus A320.

A man can be heard saying in the background, ‘they toss it just like that' before a third airport employee arrived as the mobile conveyor belt was lowered.

Christian Kim Angeles, a passenger who saw the incident, said: 'I don't think that's the right way to handle a person's belongings. I hope the airline takes action.'
