There were chaotic scenes outside Porto's Estádio do Dragão as thousands of Inter Milan fans were left waiting to get inside after the game had already kicked off on March 14.

More than 2,500 fans of the Italian club were seen still queuing outside the ground waiting to watch their side take on Porto in their Champions League round of 16 second leg.

According to reports, the fans had purchased the tickets legally but were denied entry.

Inter Milan has said it will lodge a formal complaint with UEFA.

The Italian side won 1-0 on aggregate.
