Several men risked serious injury as they extinguished a blaze on an exploding power pole in Bắc Ninh, Vietnam, on March 5.

According to an eyewitness, the pole suddenly began exploding and bursting into flames. Some power lines snapped and threatened to spread the fire to neighbouring homes.

Upon seeing these, a group of men rushed to use a fire extinguisher to gradually put out the flames.

After around five minutes the blaze was contained.

According to eyewitnesses, the power pole suddenly emitted loud explosions and burst into flames. The fire spread gradually and the entire electric pole caught fire. Power lines snapped and unleashed flames that engulfed power poles and threatened to spread to neighboring homes.
The men nearby quickly used a fire extinguisher to put out the fire, After more than 5 minutes with great effort. The fire was contained. Everyone felt relieved that the fire was under control.
