Beer thrown at police horses as tensions boil over ahead Brighton & Hove Albion, Crystal Palace rivalry match
Fans of Brighton & Hove Albion football club gathered at Brighton Station ahead of the team's match against rivals Crystal Palace.
However, what should have been an exciting day of football turned ugly as fans caused a disturbance and clashed with the police.
Beer was thrown at police horses and a number of flares were set off. Some fans even threw missiles over the police cordon. There were no reports of anyone being hit.
The police held fans back outside the station, as tensions between the two clubs ran high.
The footage was filmed on March 15.
Brighton beat Crystal Palace 1-0.
