Fort Myers, Florida, rallied to host a successful St. Patrick's Day festival six months after Hurricane Ian devastated a large swath of Southwest Florida. Thousands of people dressed in green turned out in the historic River District -- where some yachts were still submerged or heavily damaged -- to observe the holiday. Traditional corned beef and cabbage dinners and Guinness beer were plentiful as was music provided by bands and buskers alike. The event proved how resilient the people of Fort Myers are even in the aftermath of a major hurricane.
