Dozens of homes were evacuated Saturday evening (March 18) after a large industrial fire engulfed and destroyed a clothes recycling factory on Forest Road in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire in the United Kingdom.

Firefighters were at the scene throughout last night battling the fire and returned at the scene Sunday morning (March 19) as well.

Footage shows the complete destruction of the entire main building as firefighters continued to damp down areas of concern of which they feared could start on fire again.

Homes were still under evacuation as of Sunday.

One resident described the incident saying it sounded like a bomb went off.
