Horrified family finds 12ft-long python in their TOILET
A shocked housewife found a 12ft-long python rearing up from her toilet in Thailand.
Suwi Paramas said she had just finished using the bathroom and was washing his hands when the terrifying yellowish reptile appeared in the bowl.
Suwi recoiled in horror as the beast leaped towards her at her home in Samut Prakan province, Thailand on March 17.
She ran from the room screaming and called her husband and brother-in-law for help. They rang the emergency services.
Footage shows the wildlife team securing the snake with a catching tool. Two men forced it out to no avail. Eventually, the residents permitted them to smash the ceramic toilet basin with the snake still stuck in the u-bend.
Suwi watched as they carried the plumbing work outside. She said: ‘I was so scared. I couldn't even watch why they were catching the snake. It could have killed me.'
The snake was eventually removed from the toilet bowl. Its stomach was too big for the hole so they had to pull it from the other side with the pipework dismantled.
No one was hurt and the snake was taken by rescuers to be released later.
The reticulated python is found throughout Southeast Asia, where they live in forests, swamps, canals and even in cities, causing them to come into conflict with humans. The species is one of the world's largest snakes and can eat humans, cats, dogs, birds, rats and other snakes.
