A man climbed a pillar barehanded to save a cat trapped under an overpass in central China.

Video filmed in the city of Luoyang in Henan Province on March 2 shows a man named Chunlei Chen climbing up a pillar around 8 metres high above the ground to approach a feline trapped under an overpass.

Chen then dragged the cat down and two girls under the overpass caught it.

Chen reportedly runs a pet store. After the cat was rescued, Chen adopted it and named it KTM.

A man rescued a feline trapped on a viaduct 7-8 meters off ground in northern China.

Video filmed in Luoyang, Henan on March 2 shows a feline being trapped in a gap of a viaduct with a height of nearly 8 meters and a man climbing up the pillar to rescue it.

The cat was eventually rescued by the man called Chen Chunlei, who is a pet shopkeeper. Chen adopted it and named it as KTM.
