Huge wall of sand sweeps through northwestern China
A powerful sandstorm hit a province in northwestern China, causing low visibility.
Video filmed in the city of Zhangye in Gansu Province on March 20 shows a wall of sand about to engulf the city.
Another video filmed in the city of Jiuquan shows farmers trying to prevent a greenhouse from being blown away by the strong winds and police officers moved a broken light pole to the side of a road.
Cars were seen driving along a road with extremely low visibility.
According to reports, the speed of the wind reached 46.6mph to 54.7mph and the visibility was less than 200 metres.
