I explored the Ostan Gweedore hotel in Bunbeg, Donegal last year and my video went viral as people were amazed and shocked to see how the entire building had been reclaimed by nature's green hand. Since the building has now been stripped empty and is prepped for demolition, I figured it would be worth revisiting it before it disappears forever. This large seaside hotel was once a favourite haunt of the famous Belfast footballer, George Best who was quoted as saying that the hotel and surrounding scenery was "The most beautiful place on earth". The Gweedore closed its doors in 2016 and has rapidly deteriorated ever since with the inside now resembling a greenhouse over the hotel it used to be.
