Orange weather warning for an orange sky: Sand storm engulfs Inner Mongolia
An orange weather warning was issued a sand storm turned the sky a hazy orange colour in Inner Mongolia, China.
Video filmed in the city of Erenhot on March 21, shows a sand storm arriving in less than a minute, causing darkness to blanket the sky and turning it a fiery orange-red hue.
The visibility on the roads plummeted to an extremely low level, forcing vehicles to slow down and proceed with caution.
According to a local observatory, the visibility dropped to less than 500 metres.
