A kind teacher released a stray dog that was found stuck in a net around the school's football pitch.

Siwapat Nuaon was outside the classroom while the kids were having lunch break when she noticed the black pooch tangled on the ropes in Nan province, Thailand on March 14.

Footage shows the caring teacher carefully detangling the ropes around the dog's body.

Another bigger black stray approached her and seemingly tried to help, even licking her face.

She said: ‘The two dogs were so cute. I think they know each other and live nearby. I always see them playing around the field.'

The smaller dog was freed and ran across the football field with its companion while barking, seemingly to thank the woman.

Nuaon added: ‘I am an animal lover. I am happy that I was able to help them.'
