A massive swarm of bees was found buzzing outside a family's home.

Hundreds of the insects gathered at the garage of Chantrathi Praksin, who discovered them upon hearing the strange noise on a hot day in Nakhon Ratchasima province, Thailand on February 28.

The creatures flew around the yard and on top of parked cars sparking confusion among residents as temperatures soared past 34 degrees Celsius.

Footage shows the honey bees flying together around the property, creating a loud whirring sound.

Chantrathipraksin said: ‘They didn't sting but there was just too many of them. I observed them through the screen door. They were so loud.'

The resident added there were no known nests nearby.

She said: ‘I don't know where they came from but they seemed to love flying around the cars. I believe they went to our home to bring luck. There was a festival at the temple that day.'
