A Russian rocket attack hit two residential buildings in the Ukrainian city of Zaporizhzhia killing one person and injuring at least 32. Two of the injured were children.

Emergency rescue operations are currently underway. 66 rescuers and 14 equipment units have been deployed.

The head of the office of the Ukrainian presidency, Andriy Yermak, tweeted that Zaporizhzhia is under attack. Yermak also said that
“residential buildings and Khortytsia island are under enemy fire.”

The footage was filmed by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine (SAS).

Currently, 32 people were injured as a result of an enemy rocket hitting between two nine-story buildings: 27 were hospitalized, including 3 children. 5 people were helped on the spot. One person died.

The forces of the State Emergency Service managed to save 6 citizens and 1 dog.

The coordination of forces and means is carried out by the headquarters for liquidation of an emergency situation headed by the Head of the Zaporizhzhia OVA.
66 rescuers and 14 units of equipment are working at the scene of the emergency.
