This dramatic footage shows firefighters in Nottinghamshire tackling a massive blaze at an industrial estate in Mansfield. The Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service were reportedly among the first to respond to the fire on Forest Road in Mansfield on 18th March.

The public was advised to avoid the area and keep doors and windows closed if affected by the smoke. Oak Tree Leisure Centre opened as a safe haven for those impacted by the fire.

Over 100 firefighters from various stations were on the scene, and no injuries were reported. Local electrics were isolated to safely manage the incident, leaving parts of Forest Road, Sandhurst Avenue, Bessemer Drive, and Nottingham Road without power. Electricity was restored as soon as it was safe to do so.

Nottinghamshire Police assisted by closing roads and evacuating nearby properties along Forest Road and Sandhurst Avenue. The fire was first reported at 3:44 pm on March 18th, and authorities worked diligently to contain the blaze.
