Taco, a 7-year-old cat, has become a viral sensation thanks to his love for tanning in the backyard alongside his owner, R'Minda Madison, seen together on March 12 in Southern California.

Every time his owner goes outside to soak up some sun, Taco follows along and stretches out next to her, legs straight out and soaking up the rays. The adorable scene has captured hearts and Taco now has his own dedicated towel for tanning. According to his owner, Taco has a unique and playful personality that shines through in everything he does, from sunbathing to playing with toys.

My cat (Taco) 7-year-old is my spirit animal and every time I am outside in my backyard tanning he lays out next to me with his legs straight out. It’s hilarious. He now has his own towel specifically to tan on. He has a whole personality of his own and I love it. He truly is a SoCal Kitty.
