A heartwarming moment shows a 2-year-old toddler comforting her younger brother who got scared and cried in northwestern China.

Video filmed in Turpan City in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, shows a toddler named Miqi pushing the bedroom door open and walking inside while crying when her younger brother named Maidi was sleeping.

However, Maidi was woken up and was scared by the noise. So he started to cry.

Miqi then ran back into the bedroom and climbed into the bed to attempt to soothe Maidi. She was heard saying: "Don't be afraid. I'm staying with you," to Maidi in an attempt to calm him down.

The mother reportedly went out for a few minutes and left the children alone at home. After she returned home, she found her two children staying in bed together, with Miqi comforting her brother.

According to the father, Miqi was scared by something on the phone she was playing with and burst out crying. Maidi was then awakened by Miqi's crying and started to cry as well.

A 2.5-year-old toddler was scared to cry while she was using a phone alone in the living room, whose crying vibed the infant sleeping in the bedroom.

CCTV footage recorded a little girl hurrying to the bedroom and climbing into the bed to soothe her crying younger brother. “Don’t be afraid. I’m staying with you,” the girl said to her little brother.

This story happened on Feb 22 in Turpan, Xinjiang when the mother temperately went out for a few minutes.

The little girl, named Miqi, was scared by something that appeared on the phone and burst out crying. Her younger brother, Maidi, was woken by her crying and started to cry. Miqi realized his change of emotion, running into the bedroom and attempting to calm him down like an adult.

After a while, their mother was back to coax the kids.

According to the father, it was unexpected for the parents to realize that the sister should know to care for her crying little brother when she did not calm herself down.
