Video shows the scene of a fire in Jeffery Manor, Chicago on Tuesday, March 21 when a firefighter was rescued from a blaze.

The rescue reportedly took place when a fire broke out in a townhouse on East 100th Street.

The two emergency workers ended up getting trapped when the second floor suddenly collapsed. Both were successfully rescued, and the Chicago Fire Department (CFD) confirmed that all firefighters were able to escape the blaze.

Four firefighters were taken to local hospitals for treatment of minor injuries. One other individual reportedly refused treatment.

Neighbor Arica Noble described the scene as "real scary" and said the entire house was in flames. The CFD has accounted for all residents of the home, and the cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
