A man narrowly avoided injuries as a glass window plummeted from a high-rise building in eastern China.

CCTV footage filmed in the city of Yantai in Shandong Province on March 18 shows a glass window suddenly falling down from a building and crashing onto the ground next to a man who was talking to his colleagues in front of a car wash shop.

According to reports, the glass window accidentally fell from the 4th floor of the building when a woman was cleaning it.

Fortunately, the man was not hit by the glass window.

The car wash shop owner named Ou reported the case to the police. He and the flat owner have settled the matter for a compensation of 500 yuan (£60).

The video was provided by local media with permission.
