Australian aerobatic pilot Paul Bennet this weekend flew a unique, high-powered biplane (a Wolf Pitts Pro) just feet off the ground in this brave, fearless stunt. Just as the decorated pilot completed his demonstration, ground pyrotechnics intentionally activated creating a curtained fireball backdrop which left audiences shocked and in awe.

This footage - captured on iPhone in real-time & slo-mo - captures both the incredible suspense and adrenaline rush experienced by the thousands who had gathered at the Hunter Valley Airshow in Cessnock, New South Wales, Australia.

The stunt was all part of the display and no-one was injured, although reportedly a few undergarments required refreshing amongst the assembled crowd!
