Airshow spectators had their hearts in their mouths as an Australian biker performed a death-defying stunt in Cessnock, New South Wales, on March 25.

Jackson Strong rides his dirt bike up a ramp and performs a flip all while a biplane flies underneath at high-speed.

Piloted by Paul Bennet, the Wolf Pitts Pro biplane flies mere metres off the ground during the impressive stunt.

The performance was part of the Hunter Valley Airshow, a regional event that takes place at Cessnock Airport.

Another clip shows the biplane flying sideways as a wall of fire is set off in the background making it look like a scene from an action film.

According to the filmer, Jason van Genderen, no one was injured.

He jokingly added: "A few undergarments required refreshing amongst the assembled crowd!"

Airshow audiences had their heart in their throats watching this death-defying stunt. This carefully choreographed routine sees Jackson 'Jack' Strong ride his dirt bike up a ramp, flip and simultaneously jump over a high-speed Wolf Pitts Pro Biplane being piloted by Aussie daredevil pilot Paul Bennet.

The biplane can be seen flying mere feet off the ground as the motorcycle spins right over the top of the airframe, landing on an inflatable ramp moments later.

The display was all part of a high-energy routine by Paul Bennet Airshows, demonstrating the incredible manoeuvrability of the world's highest performing aerobatic biplane, reaching an astonishing 400hp! But it also demonstrated the incredible skills and bravery of Jack Strong, the daredevil dirt bike rider completing this stunt.
