A boy who wasn't wearing a seatbelt was thrown out of a car after a collision in southern China.

CCTV footage filmed in the city of Changsha in Hunan Province on March 17 shows a car driven by a man named Li crashing into another one before hitting a parked vehicle on the side of the road.

A pedestrian was seen luckily avoiding being hit by the car but a 6-year-old boy who was not wearing a seatbelt in the backseat was thrown out of the vehicle.

Fortunately, the boy only suffered minor injuries and is expected to fully recover. The incident is currently under investigation.

The video was provided by local media with permission.
