Close Call: Vehicle Completely Loses Control Driving on Icy Road
STURGIS, SOUTH DAKOTA - OCTOBER 24: Dashcam captures the footage of a car losing control and starts to drive off-road due to the slippery surface in Sturgis, South Dakota, USA on October 24, 2022. The driver was traveling across state when him and his wife got caught in freezing rain-turned-snow and high winds. A strong cross-wind caught the car and pushed the car across the icy road. He resisted the urge to over-correct or lock up the brakes, but the wind kept pushing the car right into the ditch. The driver barely managed to miss the marker post. However, he was smart enough to my speed up and get back onto the road, and luckily, did not sustain any damage to the car.
