West Ireland Ocean Severe Thunderstorm Lightning Slideshow
Epic night time light show off then west coast of Ireland during August 2013. Images captured from Mullaghmore in Co. Sligo looking across the Atlantic Ocean at a series of severe thunderstorm cells +80 miles away which were producing the best lightning display I have ever witnessed. At least one of these cells was likely a supercell, lightning was all types and lit the cell structure up like a light bulb which was awesome. I stopped counting after observing 500 lightning bolts.
