DETROIT, MICHIGAN - DECEMBER 13: Dashcam captures the footage of a car colliding into a parking pole due to icy roads in Detroit, Michigan, USA on December 13, 2017. The footage shows that the driver of the car was travelling at a low speed to ensure safety on the icy roads. However, the driver was abruptly cut off by another car that recklessly crossed two lanes of traffic. Although the two lanes were free of snow and ice, the right turn lane was not. The driver determined that it was not feasible to stop or slow down quickly enough to avoid travelling too far across the east-west lanes of traffic. Consequently, the driver attempted to decelerate and turn into the gas station parking lot. Unfortunately, the ice in the turn lane caused the driver to lose control, resulting in a collision with a parking pole. As a result, the front bumper cover was damaged, and the front right tire was punctured.
