A wild grebe was trapped by a fishing net while eating the fish on the net in a wetland park in southwest China.
Video filmed on March 11 in Jintang county, Chengdu City of Sichuan Province shows a grebe being held in the filmer’s hand. It was released later and fled away on the water with its foot.
According to Yang, the filmer, the bird was on the net when he found it and the net was not his.
