London's Heathrow Airport is experiencing significant delays due to a traffic jam, which is causing inconvenience for travellers.

This comes on the same day 1,400 members of the Unite union who are employed by the airport begin their 10 days of strikes on March 31.

Pete captured the scene from the car park at Terminal 3, where he has been stuck for an hour.

"No cars are moving. Moved about 200 yards in 45 minutes. It would take about 20 seconds to walk back where we started", he said.

Frustrated with the situation, he took to Twitter to notify the airport officials. Heathrow Airport responded: "There looks to be heavy traffic around Clipped Road, the cause is unknown at this time, we expect the queues should disperse soon".
