A pool player shot the cue ball into a diner's bowl of noodles in southern China.

CCTV footage filmed in the city of Chengdu in Sichuan Province on March 19, shows a cue ball shot by a pool player bouncing into a bowl of noodles when a man was about to eat.

The two men then burst out laughing and even managed to retrieve the ball from the bowl using chopsticks.

According to the pool hall owner, Mr Qi, everyone was amazed by the incident.

Since the ball had just been taken out of its box and was clean, the man then finished his noodles after taking the ball out.
