A CCTV footage captured the moment an explosion occurred at the Pertamina Dumai refinery, causing mosque windows, glass panels, and tables to be flung away.

The explosion at the Pertamina Putri Tujuh refinery in Dumai caused tremors to homes in the surrounding area. In addition, a mosque ceiling collapsed due to the strong vibrations.

Residents at the location reported feeling strong vibrations during the explosion, causing them to scatter in all directions.

"A number of houses have been damaged within a radius close to the refinery, as well as a mosque (with the ceiling collapsing). The radius is about 3 KM," said a local resident.

The cause of the explosion and the extent of the damage are still being investigated, and there have been no reports of casualties as of yet. Pertamina has not issued any official statements regarding the incident.
