Little Amal, a 12-foot tall puppet of a Syrian refugee, makes her second journey of the day through Somers Town to King's Cross, North London, where she joined hundreds for an Open Iftar (April 2).

Accompanied by Arabic, European and Asian drummers, Little Amal spread joy in the backstreets, raising awareness of the millions of displaced children around the world.

The Open Iftar organised by the Ramadan Tent Project, welcomed Muslims and non-Muslims alike to enjoy a hot meal.
