Two drivers engaged in an hours-long standoff at an intersection of a road in eastern China.

Bizarre incident filmed in Jiangyin City in Jiangsu Province on March 28, shows two drivers finding themselves locked in a standoff on a village road.

The motorists refused to give way to each other at a junction and the impasse continued for hours.

They were approached by traffic police for intervention, but instead of complying with orders, they engaged in a heated argument with the officers.

As a result, the police confiscated the vehicles and driving licences of both drivers and they were taken into custody for further investigation.
