Adorable cat wears custom-made motorcycle taxi jacket matching owners
This adorable stray cat was bullied by other moggies but is now the most popular pussy in town - wearing custom-made motorcycle taxi jackets to match local delivery riders.
The female cat, affectionately called 'Meow' by the locals, was attacked by other strays so now resides around humans who protect her at the Asoke interchange next to the famous Soi Cowboy landmark in Bangkok, Thailand.
Meow prowls the area day and night and has no owner, but the market traders and motorcycle taxi riders take care of her, along with locals who visit for selfies with her and give her food.
A frequent passer-by in the area recently gave the feline a handmade orange vest similar to the attire of motorcycle taxi drivers, who now treat Meow like a 'motorcycle boss'.
Amused tourists snap photos of the cat as she lazes around in front of market stalls, watching while riders ferry passengers around the city.
Local vendors and riders said Meow roams around the sidewalks during sunny days, but retreats inside the market when it rains or when the sun is too bright.
Like a big family, they jointly take care of the beloved local 'mascot', buying her cat food and even new replacement vests to add to her wardrobe.
Today, Meow's popularity has attracted both Thai and foreign tourists to visit the Asoke market and take selfies with her.
Charlie, one of the motorcycle taxi riders, said: 'She's a female cat. The shopkeeper in the market takes care of her and the riders also do. This cat likes to be with humans but doesn't enjoy living with other cats because she gets bullied. The male cat would chase her and bite her
'Many people take the train just to take pictures of the cat and go back home. They take picture of Meow and then leave. They like cats a lot.
'I am happy that she has fans and people love her. She is loved by many. Sometimes people drop by and give food. We use the leftovers and share them with other stray cats inside the market.'
