This is the amusing moment an umbrella floated like a UFO during high winds in Thailand.

Video shows the object being buoyed through the sky by gusts in Sukhothai province on March 31. Entertained vendors gawked and laughed at the bizarre sight as they manned their stalls.

The Thai Meteorological Department said the southerly and southeasterly winds were prevailing over the country's central, eastern, and northeastern regions.

High temperatures with isolated thunderstorms and gusty winds are expected throughout April in northern Thailand, the agency said.

Thailand and other countries in Southeast Asia are approaching their annual monsoon rainy season which sees soaring temperatures followed by powerful rain storms.
