A family in Wiltshire discovered a mouse living inside their living room curtains, prompting a tricky catch and release effort.

The mouse was found on March 31st secreted at the top of the curtain, and the owners attempted to pull it out by the tail, only for it to scurry inside the curtain lining.

Eventually they were able to trap it in a box at the foot of the curtains and remove it outside, while the family cat looked on without helping.

The filmer commented: "We were taking down the curtains in the living room to decorate and discovered a mouse (which the cats bring in all the time) in the top of the curtain! Shocked me and my partner Alex try to remove and this is how it panned out!"
