Bookworms gathered to browse through hundreds of books today at the 51st National Book Fair & 21st Bangkok International Book Fair 2023 in Thailand.

Readers could choose from a vast selection of books in more than 900 booths this year at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Centre in Bangkok.

Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn presided over the opening ceremonies on March 30.

The fair's theme is 'Bookfluencer' and aims to invite locals to promote a reading culture in the country. There are seven featured book zones - children's books, foreign books, rare books, comics, fiction and literature, young adult fiction, and general books.

There will also be dozens of exhibitions and activities, including seminars from popular authors, cartoonists, and illustrators from Thailand and abroad.

The fair will run from March 30 to April 9.
